Brian Richardson, Company Manager

brian-richardson-headshot-2-e1509567158227BRIAN RICHARDSON was born in Belize and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. He began acting in Trinidad in 1981. He is now based in New York.  In addition to W.E.B. Du Bois, he has appeared with the Harlem Summer Shakespeare as Macbeth, Prospero, The Tempest, Malvolio, Twelfth Night,  Jaques, As You Like It. Other NYC productions include Night Must Fall, The Lower Depths, and Race.  He has also performed with Bristol Riverside Theatre, Barter Theatre, The Metropolitan Playhouse, The Bushnell Theatre, J City Theatre, and others.  TV credits include: Atlanta, The Politician, Law and Order and Baz Luhrmann’s The Get Down.  Movie credits: Time out of Mind, Coming to America, Hunger and Sid’s New Glasses. Christine Cirker, Associate Producer

IMG_9637Christine Cirker (she/her) is an Off-Broadway director and producer, focusing primarily on new work. Most recently she directed My Shiksa Boyfriend (United Solo Festival/NYC 2022) and By The Way, Meet Vera Stark and The Cake for The Naples Players (FL).  New York directing credits include works presented by Urban Stages, Emerging Artists Theatre, LES Festival, Lucille Lortel, Pulse Ensemble, Core Ensemble, Neighborhood Playhouse, Our Workshop East, Resonance Theatre, and others. Christine has been a member of The Barrow Group community for 20+ years. Notable productions include Awake by K. Lorrel Manning (Associate Director/ Dramaturg), Perp by Lyle Kessler (Assistant Director). With Lee Brock, she is producing director for F.A.B.Women@tbg (TBG’s women’s development group) where she has directed and produced since 2010. NY producing credits include: Strings Attached (Pulse Theatre), Letters to Sala by Arlene Hutton, Renata Hinrich’s Random Acts, Jean Taylor’s The Basement Plays, The R Word and Downsizing for Our Workshop East and Einstein & Mileva (Theatre Row). Graduate of University of Michigan. Board Member of The League of Professional Theatre Women.
